What we liked was that the device was very easy to set up, the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. After purchasing the AA batteries we needed in case of a power outage, we had the setup up and running in less than 10 minutes. We used a rubber bungee cord to attach the sensor to a tree in the driveway as we didn't put any screws in the tree to damage the tree. We installed this device on September 24th, 2019 and it picked up cars, trucks, tractors, harvesters and adult coyotes in the driveway. Four optional sensors can be installed on this base station (driveway, front way/door, back way/door, other driveway to barns or fields). at the base station and alerts you to the location of traffic entering or exiting your property. We were very concerned that dust and dirt could block the charging of the solar panels during harvest. We had two rains during the harvest where dust appeared and dirt was washed away so the solar charging jar continued to charge normally as the device never stopped working. The base station is small, it can be placed on a table with a lamp or hung on the wall with a large head. screw and then use the included hanging slot on the back of the base station. The base station is black and fits into any interior. The volume can be adjusted so you can hear the call from another room, or the base station can be moved upstairs while you tidy up there. The converter housing is made of a very heavy material and should withstand any weather here in Ohio. The solar charging glass could fall victim to the very large hailstones we have had in the past and we will have to see hailstones in the future when this glass breaks.
