This is a good shelf but once installed the oven controls will not work properly. Since we didn't use the oven for the first few days after installation, we never noticed that the shelf was causing any problems. Even after the first baked casserole didn't cook properly, we didn't connect. We chalked it up to my manly cooking skills with a new recipe. A few days later, the woman with the best cooking skills with the usual recipe informed me that the oven was out of order. After some troubleshooting we found that the magnets were electronically controlled. To solve the problem, we moved the magnets to the outer edge of the apron switch box. See the arrows in the photo. I find it hard to believe that this problem hasn't happened before and the appropriate warning wasn't given.
