Too tight on the foot
I've read that dance shoes should fit snugly on the foot - they should fit like socks. My issue with them was that the elastic that wraps around the top of the foot was SO tight. It was very painful for my fingers to pull on. But I prefer to be able to adjust their density. I didn't dare to dance in it for fear my legs would bleed and I wouldn't get them back after use! For reference, my metatarsal circumference is 23.5 cm and I bought a size 7.
