Review on Pentek C1 20 Carbon Impregnated Cellulose Cartridge: Enhanced Filtration for Cleaner Water by Alex Pollard

I didn't know they were from Pentair - a very reliable name for top quality pool equipment. I bought them at risk. We have a filter system in the well for the whole house. The previous owners of the house left us a pair of high quality iSpring 5 micron filters, but when I use them the water pressure in the house is almost zero. Practically not good for anything other than washing hands. So I switched to a 20 micron filter and it worked fine, but I always felt uncomfortable asking if 20 micron was enough for well water. So I took a chance and ordered this 5 micron filter hoping it would work better than the ones we had left. Success! Yes! 5 microns And the same water flow as at 20 microns.
