    I work in a large food factory and we filter our oven water monthly with these pups (which means we replace them monthly) and they work great! I actually bought two housings for personal use, one for my fridge installation (pre-filter) and one for my water tank in the Dart Frog fog system. In both aspects they work great! Back at work these things are heavily used, I'd say they beat their rating and they're caked with limescale/limescale on the outside after a month, but with preventive…

    I didn't know they were from Pentair - a very reliable name for top quality pool equipment. I bought them at risk. We have a filter system in the well for the whole house.     Great filter! Better flow rate and longer life than the "standard " coconut shell carbon filters I have used

    UPDATE: I would increase this to 10 stars if I could. I used the LAST SIX MONTHS as a test! Obviously this goes against the manufacturer's recommendations, but we've only had a "leak" with a chlorine smell/taste a few times in this time, and that was only when we were using large amounts of water outside (filling the paddling pools and watering ). ).
