Sounds good, but does it smell?

This SACD player sounds fantastic. Plays SACD, DVD-Audio and CDs perfectly. Very simple controls, no frills. However, it smells very strongly of plastic when using it - not like a burnt smell, but like plastic. It doesn't overheat so doesn't pose a hazard. The smell kicks in as soon as the disc starts playing - it's been a little over two months since I've had it, hope it goes away soon. I will try to update this review in about a month.
