SCROLL TO END TO VIEW EDIT: I bought this for my 2019 Toyota Highlander to use with the detachable bracket. Having tried many other mounts that were similar and usually more expensive, I have to say I am happy with this product. However, it says more about my exhaustion at finding the right mount than my satisfaction with it. I have an iPhone 12 Pro with a Mous Limitless 3.0 case. I've had the mount installed for a few days so these are my first impressions. The flex arm is very stiff and does the job (it doesn't move unless you actually move it) BUT the part that plugs into my 12v connector doesn't hold it well enough, so when I'm making a tight turn make or run into it on a lot of bumps it tends to move which doesn't bode well as it's the only point of contact between my machine and the mount. for stability. Granted, this is a quick fix, but I don't want to do this often. If the fit isn't perfect right now, how much worse could it be if the product goes bad at all? We continue. The next point of contention is the ball joint that attaches the wireless charger/dock to the mast. Try as I might, I just couldn't tighten it all the way. The product's wireless charger/dock flexes under the weight of the phone (in the dock). Luckily, the way I position my hand and the fact that it can only sag until it hits the plastic ring used to tighten the ball joint puts my phone in the right position for me. But for someone else, this fact can be a deciding factor. To be honest I don't think the ring around the joint could be fully tightened to prevent sagging. I've used all the threads allowed and really don't see it getting any tighter. Which I think is a very, very bad design flaw. But then again, I'm lucky. The ball size for the hinge is about 17mm, which I think is standard - btw. Finally, the charger itself - so far the auto open feature has worked well. I like being able to just touch the silver pads on either side of my phone to sever my hands if I'm thinking of doing so before turning off the device/power. The charging performance isn't great, but it extends the battery life when using apps like Waze, Spotify etc. Maybe it's because of my somewhat robust case. All in all I am happy and hopeful. it lasts - although not sure if it will. EDIT #1: Well, it didn't take long. Within about a day of writing my review, the cigarette lighter came loose. The mount itself wobbled with every bump, no matter how big, and even on small turns the whole thing spun to the point where it fell out of the fork, throwing my phone under my feet and nearly causing an accident. NOT GOOD. I may have a fault, but the loose 12v plug is a major design flaw that basically renders this type of use useless. I didn't try the vent mount because I don't like vent mounts at all - I'm pretty sure it's serviceable so I gave 2 stars instead of 1 and the pressure mount didn't. I had to return the product. My search continues! EDIT #2: My search was empty. Didn't find a bike that fit and went back on it. I had to use a strip of 3M tape to attach the bar to my dash. It's not perfect, but it works and isn't as noticeable as I first thought. I also noticed that my phone is very heavy (iPhone 12 Pro in Mous Limitless 3.0 case) which may have contributed to the loose connector. In the end, this mount/charger ticks all the boxes I was looking for and I can live with this hack. Added 2 more stars for a total of 4 (but it's actually 3.5).
