Great Boots good for me

I'd had my eye on these boots for over a year and finally bit the bullet and invested in them after finding what I knew to be a great price, especially for Frye. They fit great (I wear a 10, which fits me perfectly in 90% of shoes) - plenty of room so that my toes don't push against the end (a huge pet peeve of mine, especially for boots) and room for thicker socks, but not so big that my feet slosh around inside when I walk. While they do run a hair big, personally I would not recommend going down a half size. I do have a fairly narrow foot, and when I wore them with a slightly heavier weight cotton sock they were snug (not tight) across the widest part of my foot, something I think will loosen up as I break them in. You might have a bit of trouble if your feet run wide. They're definitely on the stiff side, and will take some breaking in. My first night out in them involved a decent amout of walking-then-sitting-for-a-while-then-more-walking-and-repeat around downtown Cincinnati - they were comfortable, but they are a little heavy in general, and after a few hours I was ready to give my feet a rest. I think after a few more wearings the stiffness will loosen up and they'll be ready for more extensive walking and standing. As far as style, they are SUPER cute. They look awesome with pretty much everything, and I love the Tan color. I think these are going to be a great pair of forever boots.
