Review on ๐Ÿผ Organic Lactose Relief Toddler Formula โ€“ Baby's Only, 12.7oz Can by Tonya Greene

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I've tried all the others (8 different ones) and found the best!

I started out with the intention of breastfeeding, but after a week I had to start supplementing because I was short on food (remember the exaggerators who think I just wasn't trying hard enough I understand but you don't know my circumstances so you can't judge me and that's not what this review is about). By week 6 I was gradually making the switch to formula and the more formula my baby had in his diet, the choosier he became. He had green, sticky poop with a horrible and slightly acidic smell. He was gassy and arching his back in pain. His regurgitation rate was only slightly above average, with the exception of a few instances when he vomited like a projectile. We gave him gas drops and water for colic at every feeding and he still hasn't settled in. During this time we tried 8 different formulas. Some were slightly better than others or seemed to solve a problem while making others worse. For reference, this is the full list of blends we tried: Gerber soft, Gerber soothe, enfamil Infant, Enfamil Gentase, Similac sensitive, Similac total comfort, Similac soy and Similac alimentum. We even tried mixing them to see if that would help. After 2 months and 8 different formulas nothing helped and my poor baby was unhappy and only started drinking 2 ounces. at the same time and just because he was hungry. I did some research and decided my next mixes would be Baby's Only lactorelief and Kabrita Goat Milk Mix. I went to Whole Foods and was happy to find both (I wanted some immediately as my child was suffering but Revain is cheaper). I started using Baby's Only a week ago and I don't look back (an unopened Kabrita will stay on standby until week 3 and if all goes well it'll go back to Whole Foods). The first thing I noticed is that this formula smells. good! No unpleasant chemical smell. Now my baby wants to eat. Gas droplets and water splashes are a rarity. He is happy and at ease. The only downside to this formula is so minor that it doesn't require a star reset. The formula oxidizes faster than other commercial formulas, meaning it turns brown and is easier to stain. Also, my baby's poop hardly smells (which can be counted as an advantage), so sometimes he walks around too long in a diaper that I didn't know pooped, so he gets diaper rash. I never intended to buy expensive organic food for my baby. because we are a single income family with a limited budget. However, it is cheaper than the small Similac jars sold in big stores and significantly cheaper than Similac Alimentum. It still breaks the bank but for my kid it's worth it. There are two things I want to address in my review that I haven't addressed yet. Firstly, organic brown rice syrup is the first ingredient. In my research I found this to be a problem as arsenic is naturally found in brown rice syrup. However, Baby's Only addressed these concerns a few years ago and now filters it so that it does not contain arsenic. You can read more about it on their website. The next thing is that this formula is sold as a formula for babies between the ages of 12 and 24 months. From my research, this happens for two reasons: First, in order to be sold as infant formula, it has to be tested and approved by the FDA, which is a lengthy and expensive process. The next reason, and the reason Baby's Only states on their website, is that they support breast milk as their only source of nutrition during the first year of life. They also acknowledge that this formula meets or exceeds all FDA requirements for infant formula. I'm so glad I finally found the right formula for my baby. This might not be for your kid, but if you've tried them all and nothing works, try this one! It's only been a week but I'll update Revane ๐Ÿ˜„Update: it's the goalkeeper. The child is much happier. He is gaining weight and is healthy. I'm so glad breastfeeding isn't stressful anymore.
