The neck fan was exactly as described. I bought this version because it has a larger battery than other fans I've seen, and since the price is similar to fans with a smaller battery, I could have spent a little more to make it last longer; I plan to use it at least 8 hours a day. I also liked that it has a curved body that wraps around the neck and chest much more comfortably. A bit noisy, but what do you expect from a mini neck fan? Nothing I can't live with. For those wondering if it's cooling, it does so in the sense that it blows the ambient air back onto your face and neck like it's a constant wind. There is no built-in cooling function that produces cold air like in a car or home air conditioner. But hey, it's better than just sitting in a stagnant climate with no wind moving. Imagine sitting in a hot room and taking out a magazine to fan yourself to make you feel cooler. It does, but at four different speeds!
