They replaced my Astro A50 Gen 3

I've been using these headphones for three days so they should still hold up. So far I like: 1.) USB -> Amplifier -> Headphone settings. While I appreciate the A50's total wireless freedom, my main reason for purchasing it was the lack of auto-off, battery, and audio dropout issues. Happy with the results, let's see how the wiring holds up when I first pull the amp off the coffee table. 2.) Windows Sonic. I haven't paid for Dolby Atmos and I don't feel like it at the moment. I found the sound better and more immersive than the sound I got from the Dolby 7.1 setup I used on the A50. 3.) Xbox hardware detection. A minor thing, but it's so nice not to have to go back and plug in a USB to reset the base so it's recognized in a group chat. When the Xbox is on, I can run. 4.) Game Chat. Welcome back! I use Xbox Party Chat almost all the time, but when I'm playing Destiny it's nice to be able to select Fireteam Chat. 5.) Bluetooth. Connects easily to my cell phone. A few things I think need improvement: -1.) Turtle Beach Audio Hub App.: When using my Android phone, the buttons sometimes became unresponsive. I just got these things and wanted to play around with the settings. It works, but I felt the experience could have been better.-2.) Glass assist system: Not really a downside, I just don't see any upsides. Wherever my pillow tongue is placed, the soundproofing doesn't seem to suffer much, but the same goes for reducing the pressure on my glasses frame. My glasses are quite snug on my face and the fit of the headset/glasses makes the embossed design a bit higher. I use it and the tabs are tied to the last option but it doesn't really bother me and has never been a previous issue. If this is an issue for you in your current setup. Your results may vary. -3.) Comfort. I find it comfortable! However, I placed yesterday for a longer playing time. I didn't find them as comfortable as my Astro A50 Gen 3 with fabric upholstery.-4.) Soundproofing. Based on a wireless setup where I just flipped my mic around, finding the dongle is a bit of a hassle. I would like to see something built into the amp. (Which apart from Bluetooth looks like a big volume knob/broken wire with glowing bits) Conclusion: This is my first experience with Turtle Beach and I'm happy with the purchase. For me, the balance of soundproofing is what I was looking for. I felt more immersed in my game. I didn't have any issues with the overall volume as I mentioned. Reliability, more chat experience, and more custom play are areas where my comments may not match my personal experience.
