Review on DB Electrical 400-52476 Alternator for Toyota Camry, Solara, Lexus ES300 - Fits 3.0L Engine Models (2000-2003) - Replaces OEM Parts 27060-0A090, 27060-20070, 27060-20120 by Reid Rickerson

I ordered this based on all the good reviews. Due to the difficult situation under the hood, the installation took several hours. I started the car, plugged in the voltmeter and found it was still draining the battery instead of charging it. After some more troubleshooting I removed the alternator and took it to an auto parts store to have it checked. It didn't work there either. What annoyed me the most was the time it took to install this junk. This is neither easy nor fun with this car model.
