The food gets a solid five stars, the packaging one star. We have picky rescue cats that only eat certain types of kibble. One of them developed crystals and we wanted to prevent that at the pass, so we went in search of natural, grain-free, high-quality wet food. Prescription urinary tract supplements from Royal Canin and Hill's have never been touched. Out of frustration I have ordered several different types of premium wet food and Weruva is by far the best. This is clearly "folk food” with quality ingredients, whole cuts of meat and fish. Cats breathe it in and we are converts now. But the packages are terrible. They are dirty, you have to remove 10 to 30% of the product from the bag with a utensil, depending on the recipe. The same high quality that makes groceries great also makes them difficult to squeeze out of the bag. And by hard I mean you can't extract much of it unless you use a knife or spoon. Weruva needs to fix this because it's a real problem.
