I needed to have 2 oz of meat in the container and 2 oz cups don't really hold 2 oz (same for this 2.5 oz).These 2.5 oz made life so much easier. I could just fill to top and cap. I weight several and they were all apx 2 oz, so I was happy. Just what I needed. I thought they were pretty sturdy as well.If you're wondering why I would put meat in them.
