I bought this case to keep my (grey) keyboard from getting rougher from being placed on different desks and scratching the metal. This cover definitely nailed it and actually made it easier to balance on my lap. The fit is very good and didn't get dirty despite my heavy use. The ONLY issue I have with this case is that after a while my display starts acting weird and starts showing multiple touch points at the top. Screen. . He's done this more than once, and I'm afraid it might be because the clips are putting pressure on the edge of the screen, which doesn't seem to be the case. Also, if you tilt the stand far back, the case seems to slide a little, leaving a 1/3 inch (maximum) gap. This doesn't seem to cause any problems. The clips are strong (probably too strong ;) ) but they definitely look more professional and protect the metal from scratches and keep the bottom of the keyboard off the table top. The pen has a loop that you can hold it in, but as you know the pen needs to be attached to the side for charging. The pen sticks to the page but not as well and falls off. I would suggest tape it to the side when using and then remember to put it in a loop before packing. The stylus is reliable when placed in the loop and you don't have to worry about the pen dying if you shove it aside from time to time. As for the price, this is a good buy. I feel like if this one gets dirty or damaged I'll just buy another one. I'd rather spend another $20 on one of these than replace the keyboard or the device itself. The outside is faux leather, but it doesn't have that super-fake look (like many phone cases do), while the inside has a felt-like feel. This is practical because the keyboard does not slip.
