Absolutely horribly overpriced charger that is not genuine!

This is a terrible replacement for the original charger. I have nothing against OEM chargers, but for three times the cost of others I expected something to work. In the comparison images, the Microsoft charger and cables are on the right side of the image. This charger had the following non-functional elements: a defective USB connector, no strain relief on the cable, much poorer workmanship, poor charging status LED, and what appeared to be a fake label saying it was from Microsoft Japan…

Pros
  • Quick Change
Cons
  • Nothing

These power supplies are ridiculously overpriced due to the fragility of the cable. I received either a counterfeit power supply or a power supply that was meant for another device as it didn't match the part number I was replacing and was causing power surges that caused the mouse to jump all over the screen while I was playing otherwise scrolled smoothly. Get an official Microsoft adapter from them or the big yellow and blue store, which is where you can actually get a genuine adapter…

Crappy Tablet Accessory

Worst laptop charger I have ever used. The head was smashed to pieces within a week. It connects magnetically but not completely which is misleading. It connects with a magnet, the light turns on but the laptop doesn't charge, which is also misleading. I almost always have to lift the side of the laptop to make sure it's actually plugged in, as the light comes on and it connects magnetically, but doesn't really work anyway. The charging head needs to be lightly weighted to keep it in place, but

Not working

I had no urgent need to use this charger. I dropped something on my original charger and it worked. It eventually failed and I had to use this charger. It did not work. He's been sedentary for several months, but sedentary doesn't mean he shouldn't work. It is also not a genuine Microsoft product. It looks nothing like the original charger that came with my Surface Pro 4. There is no label anywhere to indicate that it is a Microsoft product. I'm past the return deadline so I think I've run out…

Three failures in a short period of time

I bought this product to replace a broken OEM charger for my SP3. At first everything worked fine, but after a year the contacts connecting the power cord to the adapter began to wear out and constantly stopped contacting. But I still had a working power cord from the old charger, so I just swapped it out and kept using the adapter. After a few months, a magnet fell out of the laptop connector. But I found a magnet, glued it back in and everything was fine. After a few more months, the cable at

BUYER ATTENTION! I have fakes and so can you!

As someone who has ordered this product before and had no problems, I was surprised when I opened up my recent purchase and found something unexpected. Instead of the usual three Surface Pro chargers in a typical box, I was greeted with nondescript white boxes in various states, with labels chaotically attached to the sides. Needless to say, I immediately suspected her. As I said, I have already ordered these products and I know what they should look like. As you can see in the first attached…
