Based on other reviews I bought this vent. This might work best in a situation where you can service it if it's installed at ground level. I installed this vent (with some adjustments, my exhaust didn't fit in the vent sleeve. The vent plastic had to be trimmed to fit). . This would not be a problem if the vent was at or near the floor. My vent is set at 12 feet. I have to climb down the stairs every time I need to clean the vent. Also note that it is plastic. I live in the south, it can have a short lifespan due to the heat and sun. I should have looked elsewhere.
