Review on TigerShark 5 Inch 9 Hole Sanding Discs Grit 180 50pcs Pack - Superior Anti Clog Coating Gold Line Hook and Loop - Fine Dustless Sandpaper for Random Orbital Sanders by Scott Gendron

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Fits perfectly on my two Festool 125 sanders

sandpaper. This Tiger Shark 60 grit is perfect for my two sanders and will hold up even when sanding dried paint, varnish or polyurethane. This is an aggressive paper that needs to be handled with care, because you can quickly cause a lot of damage in softer woods such as pine or poplar with a Festool 125 set to aggressive sanding. can be hard to find on brands other than Festool. All in all, there is NO reason to pay Festool double for a sandpaper that has no advantage over this product. Hope that helps! The Live Edge wood panel in the photos is a 44 x 13.5 x 1.25 inch piece of Granadillo native to Central America. It's not an easy material, but the 60 grit TigerShark discs helped me quickly remove chips from the surface. The photo shows the panel after 60, 80, 120, 150, 220 and 320 sanding and then four coats of LVHP waterborne polyurethane Varathane satin finish sanded to 600 between coats. I then polished the surface to a high gloss using a 3M Perfect It foam pad and car abrasive. PS - By the way, what happened to the "transparency" feature that Revain apparently wants reviewers to comment on EVERY product it sells? ? This almost never applies to review, especially any tool-related issues. only interested.
