In my opinion it should have been cheaper, for example in the $30 range. I definitely overpaid and it came with a downside. Picture instructions made it possible. It doesn't have a full price tag on the back to support it, they offer two pieces that are meant to be screwed together, but the combination of hardware and material makes that impossible. My husband is a carpenter and he wants me to return him. Pine is cheap and it would be very easy to build one yourself.
