These are rusting and not working in my application. I wanted to use it to ferment beer, weigh hops or sacks of grain. They came with an oily finish. Washed with detergent and soaked overnight. Everything is rusting the next morning. Don't add them to everything you want to eat or drink. Definitely not rust free. Update 06/03/2018 The seller contacted me. Explains that these are made of chrome and not stainless steel and will rust if used as intended. He sells stainless steel and suggested to me. I have to say great customer service and great to see a company that cares about their product. Updated 03/12/2018. The seller sent me some stainless steel balls which were just what I needed. Upgrade to 5 for excellent service. Excellent customer care. Thanks very much!
