I've been swimming for over 30 years, and these caps are the easiest I've ever used. I bought them for my daughter, 8yrs old, and she is able to place them on her forehead and fit them over her head - even with dry hair! She needs no help from me putting on her swim cap. The pockets on either side of the caps are not overly-spacious, but do provide some relief from pressure on the ear. You do not need to have long hair to wear these caps, but they stretch so beautifully that they can accommodate a bun or braid with ease. I've recommended these to all of the other moms in the locker room who stare at my daughter when they see her pop her cap on. The only other cap as easy to use as this is the spandex version, but they are not waterproof, so they create a huge amount of drag (if you care about speed), as well as a head full of chlorine. I love this product so I take care of it by following the directions and place a tiny amount of powder in the cap after it's dried. Thank you, Friendly Swede.
