The lady planner group I'm in recommended this bag as a planner bag and I thought I'd give it a try. For me the inside of the bag is the biggest disadvantage for this purpose. There is no inner lining, so the outer pockets just hang inwards. Besides, there is only one open space inside, no dividers or extra pockets, so your stuff is easy to mix with each other. There was also a strong plastic/chemical/rancid smell in the bag which cost them a half star for my rating. It's about to be fouled. If the inside of the bag was more functional for what I wanted it for, I probably would have lived with it long enough to air it out. aspect would probably be very desirable for other planners. Anyway, that's not what I took the review for, just an observation. Pros: I liked all the outside pockets.
