It's a top hit among birds

I bought this for our rescue monk/Quaker parrot, chicken. The chicken came from a woman who worked for Last Chance Sanctuary. All she could tell us about the bird was that it was once empty when she left a washed cage near the house to dry. The next day he was brought nearer to the house and the hen was in him. Needless to say, we cannot entertain the chicken in the same way as our other birds. Touch or trick training isn't an option yet, but I wanted to give her something extra for her cage so she doesn't get bored when we're spending time with our other birds. The toy reached us boxed with the rest of our order and neatly packaged. It arrived without damage and I cleaned it before putting it in the cage. As with any new toy introduced to the bird, he was more afraid of him than interested, so I made sure to ring the bell and play with it a bit to really understand how awesome it was and how much fun it was it made. In less than a day, she climbed under it, grabbed one of the many woven pieces of cloth, and began ringing the bell herself. Of all the toys in the cage, she became the most popular. She chews pigtails, pulls and tugs to ring a bell, chews dice. While there's no guarantee that anyone's bird will be even remotely interested, mine adores it. So definitely money well spent for me.

Pros
  • Recommended for Conures Caciques Senegals and other small parrots
Cons
  • Not bad but...
