This filter is almost identical to the Mopar filters which are prohibitively expensive. I recently changed the oil in my Eco-Diesel Grand Cherokee and made the choice, which I have no regrets. It fits perfectly and I have no doubt that it will work as well or even better than a standard filter. The only thing that bothered me was that the dealer could say I was using the wrong equipment on a critical engine failure. I believe that in this unlikely case, it could be argued that the afe filter works just as well. It's nice to be able to pay less than an overpriced filter from a thief.
