Fantastic water bottle. The plastic is not flimsy. It's pretty durable. The roller remains firm and does not let water through. It has a HUGE wide opening for filling. We've used Kaytee glass water bottles before and those things are absolute rubbish. We bought 2 and ended up taking them back for the time we had them to get a replacement due to a breakdown. (mini Kaytee bottle review) The seals on the Kaytee bottle are terrible (we've already gone through 3 additional seals) and pop out when you unscrew the caps. If you don't install the gaskets properly, you'll end up ripping them to shreds when you put the top back on. The metal tube is loose and can be pulled out. If you don't put it back in, it will leak. I mean, I LOVE the glass bottles, but they're not worth the price or the heartache. The Lixit water bottle had none of these issues. Not at all. The only thing Kaytee has compared to Lixit is glass vs plastic, and it's not nearly enough to give them my business again. Final verdict? Would definitely buy this bottle again.
