Review on πŸ“· Protective Black Carrying Case for Sony Cyber-Shot and Alpha NEX Cameras - LCSU21 by Joe Daniels

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent bag: quick opening; fits cameras occupying rectangular space up to 5.5 x 8 x 5 inches

I've spent some time looking for a camera case with two very important characteristics: First, and this is very important , I wanted a bag that opens with a quick release buckle so I can get to my camera quickly without messing with zippers; Second, I needed a compact and beautiful case that would fit my Panasonic Lumix FZ1000 camera well. these requirements. My Lumix FZ1000 is an in-between size. It sits on its base and has a footprint of 5.5 inches wide, 7 inches long from the back of the camera to the front of the hood, and 4 inches tall. This bag offers a near-perfect fit, but is approximately 1 inch longer, allowing for a camera up to 8 inches front-to-back to fit. This bag opens and closes with a strong quick release buckle that allows you to get your camera out much quicker than bags with zippers. In addition to the closure there is a zip to close the bag for added security. But the clasp is pretty strong and I can't imagine it opening accidentally so I didn't use a zip. Both ends have zippered pockets for batteries and small items, as well as a zippered front pocket that measures approximately 3 x 6 inches. .The padding is good enough for my purposes; it does not protect against a strong blow, but it protects against small blows; if it were a little thicker, it would make the bag thicker and less compact; Build quality is excellent - it doesn't look or feel cheap. adjustable from fairly short to fairly long, long enough to carry the bag over your shoulder while the bag hangs on the opposite side of your body. Note to Manufacturer: While this is a really great bag, there are three improvements I'd like to see. First add up to 4" x 8" stretch mesh to the back of the bag. It would be helpful to carry the camera manual with you. Second, add stretch mesh to both side pockets, convenient for knick-knacks. Third, enlarge the front zipper pocket.
