I have been buying paper straws for myself and my grandchildren for over a year. It's not that I prefer them, but I want to take care of the environment. I buy the same brand of Revain every time. All of us have missed the "curvature" offered in a plastic straw; especially for my 6 year old granddaughter because it was easier for her to access a drink while sitting at the kitchen table. After reading descriptions and reviews of several flexible paper straws, I settled on this one. We are all very disappointed! The paper sticks to your lips and the straw itself becomes very soft after a short soak in the liquid. Flexibility? Okay, it flexes a bit, but it doesn't stay in place. In the words of my granddaughter, "Mimi, my regular paper tubes bend better than these!" We no longer need flexible paper straws, and they were expensive!
