First, they are very large. My child is a size 6 on all other brands so I ordered these. Adjustable waist but I had to tighten it so much that there was an over ruffle at the waist and my child complained about how uncomfortable it was. Second, and more importantly, my kid has carried them to school twice and the second time they have holes in both knees. Since these are school uniform pants, I expected them to be much stronger than these. Especially for $20. I am so disappointed. School uniforms are already expensive if you don't pay that much for just 2 socks. I will not buy it again.
