OMG! This little device is amazing. My father recorded birthdays and Thanksgiving dinners on wire tape in 1954 and transferred those recordings to cassette tape in the early 1970s. Now I can transfer those tapes to CD with this machine and give the remaining relatives the copies that were on those early recordings. I bought this player to digitize some old audio cassettes. It worked great for that purpose and included everything I needed to get the job done. I would suggest downloading the latest open source Audacity software you need to convert tapes to MP3 files rather than using the version on the CD that comes with it. The player works as advertised although initially I thought it was converted in the device and you can put a USB memory stick in the device and it will to be complete. This requires you to use Audacity on your computer. I have a cassette player and before buying this device I tried converting it with Audacity but to no avail. This player comes with detailed instructions on how to install and set up your computer to recognize it and set up Audacity to get it working first time. Well worth not…
