Good clay but very dry

the clay turned out to be very harsh, I couldn't even get it to stick to itself. I don't know if it's the clay or if it sat too long and dried up. I currently have a block chopped up and in a bag of baby oil so we'll see what happens; I hope to mitigate it. Edit: I managed to tone it down a bit and play around with it. The consistency of the tone is pleasant; it's soft enough to (barely) be shaped, but hard enough to leave no fingerprints and make details in tone without moving too much. The downside is that it cracked on the surface when cooked. I think I might have to tone it down even more. Clay doesn't stick to itself very well either. Trying to attach hands, ears or limbs to an item remains a challenge. In the future I will have to use clay glue.

Pros
  • CRACK AND WRINKLE RESISTANCE — Once fired, the clay can be cut, drilled and sanded. Don't worry about damaging your creation as this clay is resistant to breakage and chipping.
Cons
  • trifles
