Very difficult to replace especially if like me you were stupid and ignored the warning signs of a malfunction and now your door won't open at all. Make sure you check Honda and YouTube online forums, watch the videos closely several times and use them step by step while disassembling the door so you don't waste time and damage things. Took me a few hours and am a moderately skilled shade tree mechanic with lots of tool options to work through tight doorways. I strongly recommend a good light and a telescopic handle mirror from the parts store. This actuator has been sitting in the door for a couple of weeks and seems to be working fine. BTW, the actual part that failed was a 1/2 length spring, so check the bottom of the inside of your door! I got a replacement from Ace Hardware (Spring #74 I think). I replaced the actuator because I won't be taking out the old one to change the spring without also replacing the well-known fail-prone actuator. Spent too much time on this job.
