I used to use a scanner when I needed to digitize documents or books, but that was often too cumbersome, especially when I just needed a paragraph here and there. A friend introduced me to this scanning pen that made it easy to quickly scan on the go. It's very light, fits easily in a pocket or briefcase, and can be used as a standalone device without requiring a connection to a computer. Having said that, I highly recommend the app that comes with the product. I can scan the file directly with the stylus and the text will automatically transfer to my iPhone without having to download it from the stylus. It's very easy to use. Please note that you must ensure that your phone and the scan pen are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, otherwise the pen will not be able to find the phone. When my device arrived I didn't immediately notice it until I watched the tutorial video. Another handy feature is the ability to share your phone's Wi-Fi hotspot with the stylus. If you frequently need to scan small amounts of text, I highly recommend this product.
