My husband went on Medicare this month, and was wanting to laminate his Medicare card. After researching, we found that the Social Security Administration does not recommend laminating, but that a clear plastic holder is acceptable for protecting the card. These card holders seem like they will be just what I needed. I just started Medicare 2 months ago and was wondering how to keep my card looking fresh and new while it rides in my wallet. This holder is a snug fit. Just enough so that it will hold the card from falling out. It appears to be durable enough to protect the card from wallet wear and tear. This is heavy grade plastic. Seems very durable and not flimsy at all.My one dislike is that I wish it had a ziplock closure on the top. I couldn’t find any like that to fit the size of card I had, so I ordered these. Other than that, I’d say it’s good quality and will serve the purpose I needed it for. It protects Medicare, Social Security cards and such… but it will not fit in the areas in my wallet designed for credit cards… had to slip it into another area… but bought another brand and had the same issue…But does the trick and protects the cards from damage.

After I got my Covid vaccine cover for vaccine card, which has held up well since the state I live in requires proof of being fully vaccinated to get into venues. I take that card in and out of my wallet a lot. So I looked for medicare card covers and I found them. My medicare card fits perfectly and the cover is not bulky and fits in my wallet well. great little cover to have.

I am very happy with this product. It actually fits my Medicare card perfectly. Also it fits my secondary card. In todays world where a lot of important cards are flexible and subject to damage in a wallet, this is a perfect solution.

Won't work unless you are willing to fold the card.The card is too large for it.Don't be fooled by the answers people posted (I have no idea how they made it work).

Why they issue that all-important Medicare card on nothing more than thick paper stock is beyond me. It should be on heavy-duty plastic with hard-to-forge features. But in any case, I purchased these (came as a set of 5 I believe) for three people for Medicare cards. Fits the card, fits in wallet, and if any of them come apart at the edges . well, at least I have spares.

Just received these and my Medicare card slid into the sleeve easily and it fits nicely. No trimming necessary. fFrom the looks of it once it is in the sleeve there is no room for trimming as other reviews I have seen. It fits in my wallet sleeves perfectly and does not stick out any further than my credit cards. I can't rate it's durability as I just received them so the jury is still out on that. Perfect size for all those cardboard or paper cards you carry in your wallet. The only problem is, most wallets do not fit these covers. Choose your wallet carefully. Good sleeves, fit in my wallet, clear and flexible vinyl that would appear to hold up well (I have only had them a few weeks, but they work well to protect my health care cards, etc). Not expensive, so a decent value.
