I'm 5'9, I bought a medium one, it fits perfect. That's not the problem.I bought this for the renaissance festival in town and needed it by friday, the only one that would ship in time was the white one. I bought the robes as a last minute costume. They arrived quickly and everything was just as it should be. They were a bit more "silky" than I expected and very thin but I still liked them. It came with the cross and the rope belt. Everything fit as it should.My two complaints, and they're minor are;1. The hood, when down, kept finding its way from the back to the front, super annoying.2. The bottom wasn't quite wide enough when walking. If I took a slightly long stride, I would it the fabric…

Good quality garment that fits as described. I am a thicker man (5'9", 265 lbs., 52" chest, 40" waist) and I ordered the XL. Other than being a little too long it fits great. The hood on the cowl is large and creates the affect shown in the image. The only negative is the robe belt. It could be longer to create a better effect but it matches the pictures so I should complain. The material is a thick polyester and doesn't breath, so be ready to be warm.

Product arrived quickly, material feels fine enough for a costume, so on. Be forewarned, your hood may be in a separate package, especially if you ordered multiple products from ebay at once. I ordered an XXL, chest is quite a bit tight compared to the looseness of the rest of the robe.

I am about 5'9" 190 - 200 bought the XL robe.Couldn't take long steps. Hard to walk up stairs. Other than that this was a great choice.Paired this with a light up purge mask and was best costume on block.

My husband wore this for the Renaissance fair! Overall the material was thicker and great quality. I would recommend ironing or steaming before wearing because it is wrinkly when taking it out of the package. We even left it hanging in the closet for a week before we left and the wrinkles hadn’t fallen out. Other than that, no problems! Would buy again.

It's not something a real monk would wear but for Halloween/cosplay purposes it should last many years. 5'8" the medium fits perfect lengthwise. Might be a tight fit if your on the heavier side.

Great costume for my son at the Ren Faire. It was thick material and fit him great. But be aware my son is 6’1 and 230lbs. The hem came down past his shoelaces, so just know if you are shorter you’ll probably need to hem it. Overall very happy with it!

Thanks the care directions, do dump it. don't iron it, don't set it wet, keep out of heat.can't wait to use this and see what happens in the humid Florida climate

I purchased this to use as a Halloween costume. Overall, for what I paid for it, I'd say it's reasonable. The construction quality seems solid. Like many others have said, it's quite long. I am 5'10" tall, weigh around 185lb (I comfortably wear a men's large shirt, and 32x32 Levi's.) The robe (size large) gets under my feet a little, and the sleeves completely cover my hands. Plenty of room in this garment for extra clothes underneath. It's thin material, but it doesn't breathe much. The burgundy is a nice color, but even after washing and ironing it was a bit difficult to get rid of the creases. Works fine as a costume, but doesn't have the weighted feel you might be expecting.

I am 5' 10" and purchased the medium size which was just the right length for the robe. The quality of the material for the robe is very good. I will be able to use this for years to come for Halloween or other costume parties. I created my own wooden crosses to go with the rob as the one that come with the robe was smaller than what I wanted for my costume.

Not too shabby for the price. Material is a bit thin. I’m 5’10” and 210 pounds. Got a large - wished I had went Xtra large. It fits OK, just not as baggy as I’d like. I can’t "hide” my hands when holding them together as the sleeves aren’t long enough. Length also shows off the bottom of my pants. It looks the part and the rope is good. Honestly it’s hard to complain for less than $30 USD. Lots of creases and the hood doesn’t keep that "point” at the top. Trying to come up with a solution.

Get the largest boys size if you are a small-medium sized woman in need of a monk costume. I swam in this one it was so big. The boys costume fits waaaay better.

Very cool looking, and light weight. Got this for the Renfest in our state. This looks to be easy to wear all day walking around on the grounds.

Ordered it for a Halloween party and received it on time from seller. Material is ok quality (much better than the cheap ones you find at the seasonal Halloween stores). I went with an XL which runs a bit long but it also is not very wide so when it came to picking what to fix I decided I can reduce the length but I can't make it wider, right? I am 6'3 210lbs; so do the math. Overall happy with the purchase and wife likes it (goes well with he gypsy costume).

Sleeves are a little long, but I think it's just supposed to be that way. The biggest issue I have is with the hem (Bottom) is a bit too small around. I makes it difficult to walk in. Lack of pockets, or slits in the side to reach your short's pockets, is annoying as well.Other than that, quality is good and it's comfortable enough. Seemed to do fine in the rain as well.

Product isn’t bad for the price.Material- is exactly what my window curtains are made of.Necklace/cross- is waaaay cheaper then I thought.Rope- is actually not really a "rope” but I’d assume after trying on, it definitely is more comfortable then what a real rope would be.Outfit itself- I can’t walk at full "step length” kinda tight fit at bottom.All in all. For the price it’s a pretty good deal for non lighted areas. < if you care than the outfit looks cheap.

I ordered the size I did (XL) based on my own measurements compared with the sizing chart. For reference, I am 6'1", 220lbs, broad-shouldered, and my height is fairly evenly distributed between my upper and lower body. The robe comes down to my feet and sits perhaps an inch if that off the ground. I can walk comfortably in it, but definitely could not run or take overly long strides. Also my feet occasionally catch the hem of the robe when bringing them forward, so I choose to shuffle my feet…

Look great! Fit great! No weird folds in the fabric I need to work out. Kids love them. Small fit my 13 year old. Medium fit my 15 year old, who is 5' 8" tall. More than worth the price. They are perfect for halloween.
