This was a great purchase. It fit really well, the feet were a nice added bonus and the whole outfit stood up to a long halloween concert.My only reservations are that A) it smelled pretty bad upon arrival B) one of the foot straps broke C) the beak and head are difficult to position correctly. I had to wear a bike helmet underneath to fill out the head and stuff the beak with crumpled up paper.

The product shipped on time which was great. I placed first in my age group in a 10k in this costume, so definitely has ample leg space. I'm 5'4" and it fit me just fine. It breathes well. My only complaint is that when stuffed the nose tends to get in your face, and you'll need a couple of safety pins to hold in the stuffing. So far, haven't used it for much, but seems to be exactly as described. My wife and daughter loved it, so it was worth the few dollars I paid for it. Planning on using it for Halloween soon, as well as maybe a 5k or two. It is pretty warm, but that is a good thing as the weather turns colder. You might need to find some black pants along with it, as the penguin costume doesn't make it all the way down to your feet.

This costume needs a little work to make it great. The straps for the feet would never last, but I knew that from reading previous reviews. I reinforced them with some safety pins, and they stayed on all night. The head and beak of the penguin fell flat, but per the manufacturers instructions, I stuffed them before use. I mean, its a penguin costume. What level of craftmanship are you expecting? The only reason it's not a 5star is because the beak was pretty wonky out of the bag and I was never able to get it straight. Also one of the shoe covers ripped when I tried to put over my orthopedic boot. If both your legs are the same length I don't think you'll have a problem.

This is a super outfit for the classroom. We bought it for my daughter who is a paraprofesssional in a elementary special ed classroom. As an adult she is able to wear it not only as her Halloween costume but also for her lessons about penguins while her students learn. She added black leggings but because it comes complete with feet she looks very much like a penguin yet has the freedom of movement to chase/corral her students.

I loved the costume, but it was a little large for my 5'2" body. I expected that though since it was a one size fits all. The arm holes are perfect for allowing you to snack on foods and have a drink at a Halloween party. I would definitely recommend this. I will caution you to watch your step though as the feet tend to get in your way and get stepped on while in a crowd.

Ordered this to wear with a flock of other penguin's at the Santa Crawl. We were a big hit! We each personalize ours with paints, blinky lights, bows, and gluing on snowflakes, etc. My boyfriend is a big man and I am tiny, we ordered the same size and it worked out fine. Very easy fit, and a cool look. We did however have to use bobby pins to hold the beak up from falling in our face, or shifting around, and we left the webbed feet at home and wore boots.

Worn this for 2 halloweens and it has worked great each time. Although, in 2011, there were a lot more penguins than there should've been. Either way, this costume still rocks. the beak is annoying ,you may have to pin it up so it doesnt hang in your face. Of course the title is a bit much, but it is a great costume and will definitely get attention and laughs. I actually won my works costume contest with this. The flippers have fingers so you can put your hands in them and make the most of flipper hands. The only gripe I have is that the feet are really good at catching leaves. So I wouldn't recommend walking around a bunch of felled leaves or you will be spending Halloween night picking them out.

I bought this product for Halloween last year, and it completely served its purpose. For reference, I'm about 6ft tall, and it fit perfectly. However, the costume is designed so that you could probably give or take 6 inches and it would still work. The costume is fine for what you pay for it. The head piece does not sit well, with the eyes not upright and the beak loose. I reinforced the beak to make it less limp. The feet and body were fine, though the wings a bit long though manageable.
