Not ideal for guitar/ukulele Fret slot

EDIT: Fret slot too tight. Initial testing was done on an oiled rosewood fretboard before gluing it onto the neck with Stewmac and CB Gitty frets. At a notch of 0.15 you get too much drag and require too much pressure/push! - Even more problematic on a somewhat elastic backing (like a neck already glued to the neck). Especially if you don't use rosewood (of course oily) - in the best case you get a nut that is too tight if you use it too much, which can tear or warp the fingerboard. - In the worst case, the properties of the frets cannot be adjusted at all without damaging or deforming them. Another critical point is that the spine of the saw is not exactly parallel to the saw line. It is slightly slanted (about 0.5mm), making it difficult to use the spine as a depth gauge. Bottom line: get another one to cut the frets. The Stewmac jigsaw has a 0.23 kerf (just 0.08 inches more, which is +50%) for a reason. First Review: Purchased to cut frets. Works decently and fits most frets like a glove. The downside is you'll spend ages cutting through tougher wood, but that's the price you pay for a fine, accurate result.
