I use this cold water product while working in Hawaii - yes, a place with lava, heat and humidity! I fill the bottle with ice and water at 6:30 in the morning and when I get home at 4 the ice is still there and the rest of the water is still cold. I haven't tried hot drinks. I'm not sure I ever will. The cover options are great - when I'm driving "around the office" the straw option is great as it keeps me on track - it's the one I use the most. Two minor gripes - unscrewing the cap can sometimes "cross" - this is easy to fix and doesn't damage the bottle or cap, but it does happen sometimes. I also noted that the lid should be tight to prevent leakage. The second little thing - the bottle itself does not form condensate (which is great, since EVERYTHING sweats here - me, glasses, etc.). However, if cold liquid comes into contact with the lid, condensation will actually form on the lid. It would be great if there were some means to insulate/insulate the top of the lid to keep this condensation from forming. At one point I thought the cap was leaking as the condensation soaked where the bottle lay. Excellent goods!
