This white noise generator increases in volume by up to 120 dB and produces 30 tones. of a color you can increase or decrease the brightness, make it pulse or turn it off. The controls are hard to see as they're located at the bottom front of the machine and aren't backlit, so finding the right button can be tricky. At night it has an audio category button (like a folder), a next track button that plays the next song from the selected category, power on/off, volume down and volume up. The top of the machine controls the light and it has a switch on the back of the machine for a timer that can be set to 30 or 60 minutes, it also has a headphone jack and a micro USB port on the back for powering the Device. (this machine is not battery operated and must be plugged into an outlet) and includes a 5V, 1A USB power adapter. Noise categories: 5 fan noises. 5 White noise (various tones, frequencies) 5 Noises and tones of natural scenes. 5 ocean sounds 5 weather sounds (rain, running water, thunderstorm) 5 hypnotic sounds. Overall I like it, it has good sound, it has a cool design and it looks well made, it gets loud so it's perfect for office environments.
