Ideal for computers and accessories

This works out of the box, allowing me to connect my personal and work laptops to the same wireless keyboard/mouse (with USB dongle), headset, gamepad and two external devices 1080p resolution. Monitors via DisplayPort. It's a lot smaller than I thought - about the size of an iPhone 4 but twice as thick. It's small and light enough, so I Velcro mounted it under the raised shelf my laptop sits on, with the USB-2 and card readers (not that I'll ever use them) facing forward for easy access. Now the laptop I'm not using can slide underneath. It replaced my old Dell Dock, which worked fine, but my new gaming laptop didn't like it because it didn't deliver enough power over USB-C (requires 130W). and USB-C is limited to 100W by design) and I didn't have the option of NOT applying power - if I was using a Dell docking station, the gaming laptop would blue screen when waking from sleep and show power alerts on startup. With this dock I just can't use the power port and it works like a dock with no power issues. !), but since I can now use the same peripherals with both, I have less stuff on my desk overall. It's not the dock's fault at all. The only complaint I have is that I wish it had a third USB2 port instead of two card readers. Both of my laptops have card readers that I'll never use, so they're useless to me, but a third USB-2 port gives me room to charge my phone.
