For those who live in snowy areas and are concerned about rust, they are great for plugging holes in the frame. Even after a year, superficial rust began to form at the ends of the holes in the frame. By using anti-rust paint and then plugging the holes with these plugs I don't have to worry about salt/brine getting into the frame any time soon. Apply a film of primer over it, which will further slow down degradation. A cheap but useful solution considering how expensive it is to buy cars these days.
