The tire just appeared on the market (2022 model), I bought one of the first. Operation - a week on VW Passat 170 forces, in the amount of 235/45R17. All that we sell is the XL version (reinforced, denser and thicker sidewalls) with an index (Y) up to 300 km / h and ZR instead of just R - means that the tire is high-speed. A wear index of 420 is very good (there is hope that the tire will last 4 seasons). Compared to the ContiPremiumContact 5, the Michelin has somewhat stiffer sidewalls, i. E. great resistance to hernias (in Conti they are like a rag, soft). The Michelin is somewhat quieter in terms of noise. I don’t see much difference in taxiing yet, but Michelin seems to have a clearer reaction to the steering wheel. On the Conti it was thrown in a rut, on the Michelin the rut is not felt. When accelerating to 150 km / h - no hums and howls, just a quiet rustle. In terms of speed index (and, accordingly, reliability at high speeds), Michelin is also more interesting than Conti. Same price. I am writing because I chose from ContiPremiumContact 5 (or rather ContiSportContact, which is almost the same thing) and Michelin PS4, but in terms of the combination of characteristics, I took Michelin. So far, I like everything very much. By the way, pay attention to who will take, until May 31, free tire fitting at some official Michelin points when buying a set of summer tires.
