I like that we have someone who is there every step of our journey - from design through implementation/configuration & support! We are working with an offshore team in India which has been great so far but they do need some training (which will come). Our biggest challenge right now comes down to how much control you want your provider or vendor to maintain when things go wrong / not as expected at times during deployment phase. This can be very difficult sometimes depending upon what type system was used by previous providers etc.. If this happens then make sure both parties know about any limitations within each other systems before going live!! Overall good experience however if issues arise regarding downtime due to server crashes, slowdowns, outages etc., ensure partner understands these risks ahead time otherwise could cause delays once deployed.
