hard to put on

they are a bit big. I ordered 13.5 EE and got 14. Nothing on the shoe says it's wide. does not matter. don't turn my feet black and blue like the pair of high top sneakers I bought at the sport store that were too small then they are great shoes. I could see someone struggling to put shoes on but finding it impossible. Closing sounds neat, but it's a pain. If I was still having the same trouble reaching my legs as before, that thing would be impossible to put on in such a fit. The closure allows the shoe to open fully as much as possible to accommodate the foot. It's also a pain to close with one hand. Maybe I'm just not used to it. I don't think this is one of those shoes that I could leave open. although if it were closer to size it would probably be different - the shoes are so light I thought the box was empty when I took them off the porch. It came with a case and two extra earbuds. The shoes already had a set of memory foam insoles, I only had them one day. I've walked 3 miles in them so far. I'll update this as useful information emerges. Update: in a few days. Missions will come in handy. Installing some of these will adjust the fit of the shoe and add a bit more cushioning. I would not recommend them for long walks. their amortization is simply not enough. I can only walk a third of the distance I could walk in a pair of walking shoes
