It was amazing! We have a Chevy Tahoe and the interior is in great condition except where our elbow is on the center console the "skin" has rubbed off and rudely reminded me of it every time we drove! So I set out to find the perfect solution. After searching on google, amazon, ebay and all sorts of other used car shops and realizing that a replacement would cost $100 I found this replacement cap. I know I know it's too good to be true, the price, the reviews, how easy it is, the color matches, it's exactly what I need. Then I thought, do I know how to do something similar? Too late, I bought it! And they sent it off like lightning, and then my wife looked at me and said, uh, when are you putting this on? So I watched the instruction video, took some photos of the old console and then decided to give it a try. Well as many other reviewers have said if I had known it was that easy I would never have hesitated to do it years ago! It really was an easy decision. I used a small construction stapler like an upholstery stapler and an automatic screwdriver (too lazy I know) but after removing the old cover the new one slid open very easily and in just a few seconds I had glued it together. It took a little stretching to get it wrinkle free, but overall it's amazing! The color is a little lighter than the rest of the interior, but barely noticeable. I was able to smooth out any wrinkles and the best part is that when I get back behind the wheel I can lean comfortably on my elbows! Buy this thing and move on!
