Review on BlueParrott C400 XT Canceling Mircophone Headset by Nick Cleary

Revainrating 5 out of 5

For me this one is better than the others.

Well I had 3 other different models. B250xt was the first headset. It had a long range (about 60 feet). Although they advertise some of their products at about 300 feet, I have never seen any of these models work above 60 feet. Then came the B250xt plus. Like B250xt, but now you can not only listen to calls but also media files. Range was limited to around 10-15 feet. After about 16 months he just gave up the ghost. The red light was constantly on whether it was plugged in or not. Tried to fall, connect. Nothing. Then I bought 450. Huge thing! Great speaker, but too big for my taste and purpose. It's hard to wear a hard hat and carry this thing without looking ridiculous. Then came this villain C400-xt. Thanks to the various wearable configurations, it was ideal for wearing with a helmet with a bandage around the back of the head. It's easy too. It takes a little getting used to, but after a few weeks of wearing it seems like it's almost gone. Again, the range on the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge is around 10 feet. You can also listen to media and activate your voice to answer or reject incoming calls, and the noise cancellation on all of these Blue Parrot models is great. I wear it around the house, especially when mowing the lawn, and the caller on the line can't hear my petrol lawn mower. I've had this model for about 3 months now and haven't had any problems to report yet.

Pros
  • Waterproof and low temperature rating - allows you to take calls anywhere
Cons
  • No power
