Review on AMMEX Heavy Industrial Disposable Gloves by Brooke Daniels

I have tried these gloves for protection in the beekeeping area and still had good touch and dexterity compared to traditional sheepskin gloves. While I would hesitate to use them for "hot" bees, they worked very well for the average temperament of the three colonies I inspected today. I felt the vibration of a bee that usually precedes a finger bite without piercing the stinger. I'm sure they are unreliable but I managed to catch the queen by the wings to tag her with great care and skill. The trick was to put the fingers of the opposite hand inside each glove to pull each finger down to pull each section of fingers down firmly at each tip. The smaller glove would have snapped with this technique, but this one survived. I was able to remove and reuse the set even after taking a break between colonies as it was a hot day and I needed to rest in the shade! Also a typical deal breaker with thinner gloves! Happy with the purchase! The color worked well too as I originally tried the black gloves I bought for car repair and while they offered great protection the bees instinctively attacked the black colors! Looks too much like a predator!
