I bought these for my Medium Big Green Egg. Installation was easy. The Phillips screwdriver loosened the screws on the outside while I held the inside nuts with my other hand. No wrench or socket wrench required. After that all I did was rub the spot, put the door over the hole, put the bolts/washers through the door and all four holes into the egg, put the washers and nuts on the studs from the inside and hand tightened. Then, still holding the nuts, I used a screwdriver to tighten them by hand. You don't want to turn with a wrench as you could damage the egg. Taking off old / putting on new didn't take more than 5 minutes. However, you should first clean and disassemble the inside of the egg. Remove the grill and place the setter, take out the fire ring and then the firebox. clean up everything. If access to the screws is blocked by the stand, simply shake the egg slightly to move it left or right to remove them. The new door slides easily and has a secure fit. I didn't even have to use silicone to seal it.
