I don't cook so I can't talk about how these bowls work. However, I use bowls to store the pizza dough in the fridge while I get up. These bowls are the perfect size for the amount of dough I'm making for a 12" or 14" pizza, and they stack really well in the fridge, allowing me to make dough for multiple pizzas and shape them individually, which is easier is. than trying to cut off pieces from a large ball of dough. The lids are nice and tight, which I think would be nice if you were storing wet food in them. If I were making 16-18 inch pizzas on a regular basis, I'd probably buy a larger container as it's a bit small for that amount of dough, but it's great for small balls of dough.
