Okay, so it's fun. The lights are bright and create a really big effect on the wall(s) and ceiling. There are also countless color combinations that children love to ride their bikes with. Our youngest was so excited when we first turned it on in his room and now asks for it every night. Being a 1 hour timer at night with the laser off and the color cycle on the first level at medium speed so it rotates the colors and looks slightly rippled while the kids fall asleep. It reminds me a lot of our holiday outdoor projector and now we are all looking forward to slightly more pleasant temperatures to try it out on the covered terrace; this would be a fantastic setting for an evening bar-b-que! A word of caution, don't place this on the floor or even a low table if you intend to use the laser function. They shine in your eyes and it will hurt and should pose a safety hazard to your vision.
