It was a big upgrade for me.
I was using a 10 year old Dell Inspiron which was slow and heavy. The Dell Latitude is much lighter, has a much improved keyboard, and even with a Core i5 processor (on my model), it has the processing speed I need. My only concern is replacing the battery when the current one dies. It seems much more complicated than my old Dell. So the battery stays charged for several hours, longer than any other laptop I've had.
